I really wanted to like this place as I love all the new development on Myrtle but I ended up feeling like they almost had it figured out but the lack of attention to details was problematic.
Came here for brunch and although the staff was friendly it took a while for us to be seated and order. They kept pushing the Bloody Mary options although we made it clear we weren't drinking. They brought me a clearly dirty mug for my $4 tea which had about 3 ounces of water with it. I ordered an egg dish which was good but cold when it arrived. Although the food was affordable the serving size was really small and my friend and I left hungry. Potatoes are cheap and filling- just add some hash browns to your breakfast options.
With some small changes this place could be okay but it's not there yet.
Wow do these guys know their glasses!!! They have an incredibly unique and selective inventory. The owners are always there and work hard to find a pair of frames that look fabulous on everyone. They are able to get prescriptions back in record time and are always available for adjustments. The glasses can be a bit pricey but considering the quality and the amount of time I wear my glasses, the extra cost is well worth the investment.
My family ordered a antipasti platter from the amazing new cheese monger in Santa Fe. It was the biggest hit of our party. It was beautiful, delicious and a great deal for the size and quality. We also went in to the store to get some cheese and meats. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and helpful. The cheeses were unique and superb. They put all the other cheese options in town to shame. A wonderful new addition to Santa Fe.
We've been using Waverley Wu for over a year. They are friendly and efficient. They always follow our written directions about how to wash/ dry our clothes. As a result we've had no problem with our clothes shrinking or losing color. Highly recommend them for laundry delivery. They are great!
Wow. Just wow. A place like this rarely lives up the hype. And yet it surpassed my expectations. Every cocktail, glass of wine and items we ordered were superb. The only thing I was somewhat disappointed with, was the uni. Highly recommend the steamed buns, the spicy pork sausages and rice cakes, and the fluke. You should not miss this Momofuko establishment.
My expectations may have been a little off with all the hype, but this place was only fine. The broths and noodles were good, but the quality of the meat and the other ingredients is pretty poor. The staff is very friendly and they know how to make ramen. I just wish they'd charge a little more and use better quality ingredients.
This place is an amazing find. I don't understand why all Indian places can't make food this good. We ordered take out and asked for recommendation. We had the murgh makhni, the lamb madras, and an eggplant dish. The eggplant was the weak link, but everything was fantastic. I only wish they'd open an outpost in Fort Greene!
We've been here a couple of times. Recently made the mistake of sitting at the bar on a Saturday night, but that was our mistake. I love their bone marrow, pig tails, and chicken fried steak. It is a casual low key environment and they play great music. The staff are friendly and make a pretty good cocktail. A solid choice for a casual night.
This place was fantastic the first couple of times we went, but felt a little tired the last time. The sizzling sisig, coconut rice, and the green mango salad are amazing. The staff is cool and I love that the have cheap beer. Overall, a good place, but I hope they keep up the intensity and get rid of their B rating.
It was amazing! We showed up right when they opened and sat at the bar. The sake expert gave us several samples before we chose the right carafe. We ordered the omakase and each bite was subtle and delicious. The whole menu flowed beautifully and the chef told us about the origin and combinations of each dish. One of the best meals of 2014 so far.
